Headed into the sewing room this morning, and there I stayed for the whole day, piecing 1/2 square triangles, 250 of them and I still have another 300 or so to do. I'm beginning to wonder why I chose a design that uses 16 1/2 square triangles per block. All that I pieced today have been pressed open ready to trim up to size tomorrow. I did however trim up enough to make a single block to make sure I was happy with the design.
1 made, another 19 to go.....

Great block Linda! I do my 1/2 square trinagles the Eleanor Burns Triangle Square up way. You get 8 perfect units from two large squares and you square them up before you press open. It is a wonderful method. Here's a link.

Hi again :)
The ruler comes with complete, and really clear, instructions:
1. you make 8 1/2 square triangles her way from 2 large sqaures of fabric. She has detailed instructions for any size of finished units
2. You use the ruler to square up the units BEFORE you open them up to eliminate some of the work.
3. You press the units open. Without her pictures I can't show you sorry :( I hope that this is clear enough anyways. It is a great method and eliminates sooooo much work and the units come out perfect every time. I have converted most of my quilt guild to this method LOL!
