My netting's keeping my skirt all puffed out, my hair won't curl well in the oven and my sewing room looks like a war zone. All sounds somewhat odd doesn't it? I've been playing in the sewing room today making little angels. Oh what fun, now the comment about my hair, is not my own hair, but the hair for the angel. I tried a different method only to find it doesn't work, so I'll just have to be patient (don't laugh Bren) and wait till Saturday and buy what's needed for the hair.
Melanie led me down the path of fabric postcards, and I've been playing with those today as well, quite addictive. Hopefully my stamp will arrive tomorrow so I can finish them and get them into the post.
Saturday I hope to get Jenna's parcel, my mum's, and the two Secret Santa parcels for xxxx and xxxxx posted. I still haven't found the gift I bought for my son, I'm wondering if I've thrown it out by mistake. Either that or I've put it in such a good "safe" place it won't be found until after Christmas.
I've managed to finish a couple more gifties, (can't show them yet I'm sorry) and plan on hiding in the sewing room again tomorrow and hopefully get my mums made ready to post on Saturday.
I decided today that once Christmas is over this year I'll make a start on a few things for next year, so I don't have this made last minute panic. I detest being disorganised......
As you can see I've been busy, only coming out to get a bite to eat and make a few pit stops, so please accept my thanks here for all the lovely comments on the bags. I just haven't had the time to reply to each of you personally.
Happy Stitching.

I said the same thing last year. I promised to do something each month for Christmas. And.......I failed miserably. LOL
The problem with you doing Christmas gifts in advance is you may never find them again!!!
I was a bit concerned that you were trying to curl your hair in the oven!!!!!
You are organized and I admire your ability to stay on track. I find that I make the resolution to "next year be prepared" but once Christmas is over I fall back into my old habits.
It's just that time of year *s*
I always say I'm starting next year's gifts sooner, but it doesn't happen here. And that special place...I have that, too. It's so special that even I can't remember where it is. VBG It's always fun to see what you are making in your sewing room. Looking forward to the reveal.
Oh boy...I feel completely responsible for your bad hair day, lol! Would starch help set the angel hair? I remember wrapping the jute really tight and close together, then sticking a pin to hold each end tight before drying. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.
What a wonderful idea to create something every month for Christmas next year! The trouble with that for me is, I don't get my ideas for Christmas gifties until later in the year! I'll have to change that bit of mental behavior, won't I?
You sound like me, hiding away in the sewing room, which I have dubbed "Santa's Workshop" now! I even got out some of my Christmas music yesterday! Made it very festive.
I can't wait to see your angels and postcards - they are going to be wonderful, I know.
Yes, Christmas prep is a little crazy at times. Your plan sounds very organized!!

Just got home Monday-- Man, have you been busy. Love the fabric purchases. Red Rails is beautiful. Sounds like you've got the Christmas Spirit.
