I'd much rather have snow, in fact I love snow, crazy ? maybe, but all I've ever known is sun, surf and droughts, so to experience snow is wonderful.
The hum from the sewing room has been non-stop as Christmas gifts are being made. Hopefully this afternoon or perhaps tomorrow I'll be able to show you what's been made.
Happy Stitching and I hope wherever you are you're warm and safe.

The ice sure looks pretty, even if it isn't snow! Enjoy your day with your husband and your sewing machine!
Ah yes. OK and ice storms! We got caught on I-40 years ago in an ice storm -- it took us 10 hours to drive from the OK/AR border to OK City -- it was awful, but everything was SO beautiful! Can't wait to see your sewing.
Like you - I'm a surf and sun girl - so all of it looks wonderful to me . . . snow, ice, even plain old frost on the roof *s*
The ice is very pretty here to but I would have rather had the snow! A limb came down on one of our trees last night. We have been having ice since Saturday night and are supposed to have it through Tuesday or Wednesday. no school for the kids today here!
The ice looks so pretty! It's stinking hot here...

The ice looks lovely. I am such a cold frog I don't think I would survive living where it gets really cold although it does look beautiful.
Finally, someone who loves winter as much as me. The pix are great/ it's icy here today as well and a wonderful day to sit and quilt/

Looks like you live in 'Iceland'. It is very pretty on the trees...how is it that such beauty is also so wicked? I can't wait to trade snow for sun and sand! But first things first, I seem to have misplaced my head. Can't find it anywhere. No angel girl until the head is recovered. Argh...my sewing room looks more like a crime scene than a room where I create quilty and crafty things! Send search and rescue , LOL, maybe even a St. Bernard or two.
Snow storms are fine, but not so with ice storms. We too are having our share of ice storms, although yours looks worse then what we received! At least you can keep the sewing machine humming!
The ice pics look beautiful! You made me curious about what you are sewing!
Oh, isn't that lovely! NOT. I would much rather have snow. The sleet is just starting here. I'll be home all day. VBG
I love snow and ice storms, but not the dangerous part. They are so beautiful. We've been up in the 70's this week, so I'm a bit envious.
