Nanette mentioned in the last week or so that she had purchased this book and when I saw that my book club had it in stock, my thoughts went to Christmas stitching, so it was easy to push that "purchase now" button...
Christine showcased this book last week along with one of the quilts she was in the process of making. Just by chance while I was shopping for fabric on the weekend I found it on special for $5.00. What a bargain and the information in the book was so interesting. Thanks for the little look Christine, I probably would have passed it by if you hadn't shown us.
Just a couple of purchases over the weekend, cute butterflies and little dots. You'll see what they are for within the next couple of weeks.
Now it wouldn't be a "me" post without a little tease photo. so here's a little progress on the bag for the bag swap.
May Britt is celebrating two years of blogging, so pop on over and wish her a happy anniversary and get your name in the draw for her lovely giveaway.
Now it's time I headed back to the sewing room to play with butterflies and dots, then I need to make a start on my sweetie's birthday dinner.
Happy Stitching.

Your embroidery is gorgeous! Love your new header, too.
Gald you got most of the parcel shame about the Cherry Ripe...perhaps who ever enjoyed it was thinking about your figure LOL.
Hi Linda, I love that you mention and show what people have found. It lets us get a look at it with you helpful blogs attatched.
Your bag is going to be a cute one. Can't wait to see it. I'm almost through, I have so many things on my list, I knew I better get it done.
I'll be checking back with you on the dots and butterflies.
Now to hop over the May Britt's place.
Have a great day and tell hubby Happy Birthday,
Hugs,
Bonnie

Happy birthday to your sweetie! :)
Your embroidery is lovely! And the fabrics... are so sweet!
Love that tease - so pretty!
Great price on the book!
There are quite a few others in the book that I would like to make.
You can purchase plastic templates for the designs in the book through a company that produced them for the author. I've ordered a few of them, but can't recall the name of the company off the top of my head.
I can go through my templates and see if I can find the source company if you are interested.
Great books! Your stitchery is beautiful!
You are such a big teaser. The stitchery on the bag to be is lovely.
All your projects are wonderful, Linda! I haven't seen that apron book before - I think I'll be purchasing that one. I love the stitching for the swap bag!
