January 22nd, it's the day after my birthday, and today I received the most wonderful gift I could have ever asked or hoped for. I'm now a legal US resident. Thank you to everyone who left comments and emails with warm thoughts and prayers, they were all treasured and very much appreciated. My God is a good and faithful God, who's promises come to pass to those who wait. This has been a very long (almost 5 years) and a very expensive (over $10,000) process, but I wouldn't change a thing about it.
Now I did say it was a celebration, so in honor of my wonderful news and new status I'm giving away this little table topper. You can see that I haven't completely wasted the last two weeks, my first finish for 2009.
