I had a lovely phone call from Miss Hollie last night. It appears that she won't be a Miss for too much longer. She and her boyfriend plan on getting married this year. She also told me that I'm going to be a Gran in September. Not exactly the order in which I would have wanted it, but these things aren't always in the control of the parents, all we can do is to continue to love them. Now I will have a little one to to spoil rotten and love on and of course to make far too many quilts for.Spring Swap Update
The last of the emails with your swap partners details were sent this morning. If you haven't already done so, please email me to let me know that you have received it.
Now for just a few basics of the swap.
1. Please email me when you send your parcel to your partner so I can let them know to expect it.
2. Please email me once you have received your parcel so I can mark it off my list.
3. PLEASE email your partner with a thank you, just a blanket thank you on your blog will not do. If I find that thank you's have not been sent I will publish your name on my blog.
4. If for whatever reason you're running late with the mailing of your parcel to your partner please let me know so I can let your partner know.
Happy Swapping.

Hi Linda, I am checking out your blog via the tea swap. I have loved your sneak peeks and it will be fun to see what you are doing for the spring swap. I thought about joining but I have some other commitments. Have fun. You do lovely work.
I'm tickled pink with my swap partner. :o) Ooo a baby...now you can start making darling baby quilts! Congratulations, even if it's not the preferred order. :o)
Oh how exciting- a grandbaby, that sounds lovely! I really don't think the order of events make a big difference, we got married and christened our baby at the same service, it was a wonderful day!
Congratulations Grandma. Best wishes too all of you. Baby quilts are so fun to make.
Congratulations to you and your family... soo much fun!!! :o) Well I think I will have to wait for this day...becuse my daughters both said... -I shall not have children...sorry Ma... But we all know this can change...right..:o)
Oh Congratulations Linda!!! How very exciting for your family. I love your attitude -- kids do things on their own schedule these days. And REALLY lucky for us too -- now we'll get to see your baby creations!!!
Well grandma you beat me to it. My thoughts are expressed with both Stina and Anna's comments. My daughter doesn't want children and my son and his bride tell me its on their five-year plan, so wait I must.
Congrats to you and your family. I'm sure the new grandchild will be properly attired with stuff from Grandma.
Nice to hear that you are going to be a "Gram".
