A Bit Of Grandma Love

As soon as I found out that I was going to be a Gran, I did a little baby fabric shopping, as all expectant Grandma's do. I've been working on these in between swap commitments, and have the first bundle finished.
Seven burp cloths, soft and snugly flannel.
Four soft swaddling blankets.
Six flannel backed bibs (in need of pressing and de-linting).
I have the cot/crib quilt done, except for the borders, that will take another shopping trip. While I was looking for bib fabric in the drawers yesterday I found another piece of fabric that I think could easily be fussy cut and turned into a very cute floor quilt.
I have a lovely piece of toweling that I'm not quite sure what I'll turn it into and a sweet piece of fabric to make a sleeping bag out of, plus patterns, ideas and requests from Hollie coming out my ears. So I think I'll have plenty to keep me busy until the birth.

Happy Stitching.

Congratulations on your upcoming grandmahood! It's a very exclusive club! You can only get in by not killing your own children when they were teenagers and you occasionally thought about it!!

Your things are lovely and the new baby will be cuddled in soft, comfy, made-by-grandma necessities.

Hugs

I became a grandmother last year and I have to tell you that it is the BEST! I love sewing all those cute little things. This time of expecting is just as joyful as actually having the baby around. Have fun!

They look great Linda. Can you tell me what you've used please. Flannel and towelling?
I've found a tutorial for bibs but what size are you making the burpies?
Is that too many questions? Sorry, I'm nosey.
