Merry Monday

It's that time again, time for a little inspiration for all our Christmas swappers. I think Stephanie and I have the stockings and sacks well covered. So it's time to move on to some ideas of what you might like to put inside those stockings and sacks.

Let's start with some basics.
You can never go wrong with good quality long quilting pins. I personally like the glass head pins as they have a nice fine point, but you can also get flower head and neon pins. A google search will find you plenty of stores to shop from.

Hand quilting or applique needles, if your partner enjoys doing either.

Good quality threads to piece and hand stitch with. Aurifil is my personal favorite, and if you want it at a good price then this is the place to shop from. For the Australian ladies Rasant is exactly the same and you can find it here.
Safety pins for sandwiching quilts, these seem to come in all sorts of shapes and sizes these days, and there are also covers available.

Pack of bobbins
Bobbin thread holders
Bobbin saver (plastic ring to hold bobbins)
Does your partner enjoy applique and use Steam A Seam ?
Current issue of quilt magazine
Packaged pattern
FQs
Pigma Pens
Quilt hangers

Embroidery threads.
DMC

That should give you a few ideas to start with.

Happy Swapping.
