Ready For The Rabbits

I'm sure you remember these lovely patterns that arrived from Melanie. I decided that they had aged long enough, in particular the pattern on the left.
So last week I busied myself and got the background cut and pieced.
Sunday evening I sat and embroidered the words.
And yesterday I spent the day making this terrible mess (sorry about the poor quality of the photo).
To create this.
Now all that's needed is for the border fabric to arrive, and hand applique the rabbits and it will be ready for the machine applique and quilting.
Happy Stitching.

It's nice to see you have scraps on the floor when you sew too. Can't wait to see your finished project.

Wow Linda! You have been really busy! The quilt is just gorgeous, I love the background fabrics and how they are so subtle against the bold and stunning detail. Actually, since seeing these patterns on your blog I have made enquiries about purchasing the latest "Tea Time" pattern - have you seen that one? Mrs Bunny Haven is one very talented lady! As are you! Warm wishes! Vikki x

Sometimes it requires making a "mess" before you can create a thing of beauty. This is going to be a beauty! Can't wait to see more of it!
