When I did a search for an image for today's post I typed in too hot, hmm those photo's certainly wouldn't pass the "G" rating. Almost 100 is what it reached in my sewing room this week. With no A/C in there it's been beyond unbearable, add hot flashes to the mix and I'm sure you can imagine. But that will all change this afternoon, DH is going to install a window unit for me so I can sew to my hearts content, no matter what the temperature is. So to keep myself busy I moved into the dining room and made a lovely mess cutting and leaving trails from my pinking shears.
The best news is that I have finished writing my second pattern, so pattern testers watch your mail box next week. Time to call Luke again and see what we can do with the graphics for the cover, but for now I need to clean up the horrible mess I've made in the dining room.
Happy Stitching.

Yikes - it is HOT! It will be wonderful to have an air conditioner in your sewing room! It's cold and rainy here in Maine!
We dont seem to have your temps here, it's hot but not uncomfortable. Heat and sewing dont mix, do they?
Yeah...A/C...!!!!
Hope you cool off soon.
Now THAT is miserable!! I'd be sitting in a bucket of ice by now ... chuckle! TTFN ~Marydon
Yay for air conditioning in the sewing room! Now you'll be able to sew even more wonderful things to share!
OM...I would be melted over the sewing machine. Not a pretty sight...
Mum's the word.......although it will be really hard!!!
Wow can't imagine not having A/C. We have to have it on here. Not many houses don't have central a/c in FL :-)
No a/c here, but we are never close to a heat like that! By the way, we could need some warmer weather! Wish you luck with your patternwriting!
bet you can't wait for the air con.....makes life bearable......and then you will be happy sewing........
goodluck with the pattern......
Instead of a power surge you were having a meltdown! Best of luck with your patterns. You have my support 100%.
Ok then, you could have some of my 8 degrees celsius if I could bottle it for you. How quickly we forget how hot it was not long ago, now I'm freezing.
Linda, this hot mama and no air doesn't get much done at all. I'm so glad your getting an air conditioner in your sewing room. We just had to get ours worked on and I was so hot...
Can't wait...
Keep Stitchen'

Oh my - that would have done me in for sure, Linda! Glad you're getting a cool-down!
Cheers!
