The Last Hug

This was the glimpse I gave you last week.
It's transformed.
I love how the two flowers stand out from the others.
A pot full of blooms.
It looks lop sided, I need to learn to straighten up the camera before I take a photo.
Just hand stitching down the hanging sleeve, then it's ready to be sent to Nan's friend, and that finishes off the Hug parcels.
I've thoroughly enjoyed making these, and will think about doing it again later in the year.

Happy Stitching.
Linda

Such a happy happy quilt, I love how you've added dimension to the flowers. Are these patterns, your own patterns? The fabrics, the quilting just all phenomenal. And such a generous thing for you to do, giving unsuspecting people hugs.

This just beautiful! I can't believe that someone would do this for someone they don't even know. I would love to do this. I think I will make this a goal in 2010. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. You do great work.
