Converting

Time to take a break from dressmaking and get some quilting done. This pile has been sitting patiently in a box for well over 16 months.
I need to convert them into around 44 of these.
I remember now why they were put away. Repetitious work I find very (dare I say) boring. Here's hoping I can make a good dent in them today.

Happy Stitching.
Linda

I certainly understand the sameness getting boring. At least your fabrics are pretty and pinwheels are happy things. Happy Sewing.

I like repitition work, if I combine it with another project. I have to make 25 blocks for the next Schnibbles project. I make 6, go on with something else and then make some more. Works perfectly for me (O:

I like variety, so I'm always working on multiple projects. I like pinwheels--easy peasy work, but never 44 at one shot. lol

I put on music and just plow through that repetitive work... Sing loud and clear... whose gonna hear ya! lol

Good luck... I am off to drop off a quilt to my LAQ and stay out of the house for a bit while we have a Realtors Caravan...

I am hoping to bride them to sell my house by leaving home baked chocolate chip cookies and bottles of ice cold water...

16 months - I think I may have you beat on a few of my things (but don't tell anyone because I'm embarassed about it)

Only 16 months.....I think I have you beat!!! Somehow other things got in the way...3 grandchildren in the last three years had a little to do with an unfinished quilt I had started when I had to switch to baby things. Oh well....at least when I get back to it I won't have to go buy fabric!!! Just have to remember what I was doing!!!!! Have a great day.

So how did you go Linda??

Ha! I just keep moving that pile from one side to the other and it still keeps getting in my way. Maybe I should finish something but it is so much fun starting up the new projects. What clothes have you been stitching? Do show:-)

I wish you luck with that task Linda - I get bored easily too!
