Taking Life Easy

I can't believe that it's been 2 weeks since my last post. I've been trying to take life easy. Doing the things that bring me joy and make me smile. I'm happy to report that I haven't had the need to use my stress relieving board.

You may remember this little peek that I showed a few posts ago.
It's grown and now completed, but alas it's still only a peek.
I love the little ribbon rose. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed silk ribbon embroidery.

I'll reveal the entire item once Stephanie finishes the string challenge.

My days have been filled this past week with dressmaking,. Trying to get a wardrobe together that's suitable for the work environment, and I must admit I've thoroughly enjoyed the change of pace.

Happy Stitching.
Linda

Looks fabulous Linda - can't wait to see the completed result. Pop over to my blog and there I have a free BOM which aims to cheer up all the people out there who need to remember to treat themselves.

Linda, love the stitching and can't wait to see the completion. I understand about time getting away from posting but wish it was because of taking life easy although I am doing what I love--gardening.

Dressmaking - is there nothing you can't sew? I think that may be way above my abilities, I sewed lots for my kid s though, but they were okay with a bit of wonkiness.
The ribbon embroidery is beautiful.
Glad that you are feeling better.

This stitchery is so wonderful.I know I have seen it on the net earlier. Is there a pattern for it. Do not feel bad for not blogging for some weeks. Some times other things are more important:)
