Sew Mama Sew May Giveaway
Today is Sew Mama Sew's May Giveaway Day. Here's what I have up for grabs. A handmade bag, covered purse size note book and a check book cover.
To be entered in the drawing leave a comment on this post only, telling me what your favorite summer past time is. Linda, What a wonderful giveaway!! I have to say that I have several favorite things to do in the summer. One of them being to definitely be outdoors! I long for it all winter. Then of course this is followed closely by reading outside, walking, hiking, and of course quilting (but not outside)... LOL!
Family picnic's are a favorite just enjoying the outsideafter being cooped up inside...love your giveaway fingers crossed...thanks!!
Beautiful bag! My favorite summer pastime is planting my flower boxes and hanging planters, then spending the rest of the season in the aircondioned comfort of my living room!!

Linda, my favorite summer pastime is staying home sewing, tending my flowers and playing with my grandaughter if she visits. I rarely leave home the whole 2 months. Thank you for the chance to win this lovely bag.

My favorite summer pastime is applique. Of course that is my favorite pastime the rest of the year too! The nice thing about summer is I can do my stitching outside from time to time.

Sweet giveaway. Your items are lovely. My favorite thing to do in summer is ride my bike. DH and I have loved riding together for 33 years now. The most enjoyable exercise and keeps me feeling younger than I am.
Awesome bag.....love the colors. When school is out.....there is time to spend outside. Water balloons and water guns, swings, watermelon and cooking on the grill but the best part is doing it all with the grandkiddos. And when it gets dark there is lying on a quilt in the freshly cut grass, under the stars.
Cute bag! In the summer I love the fact that we have no schedule. Favorite past time is whatever we want to do at the spur of the moment. With 4 kids it's really fun to just hop in the car and head on out.

How pretty this bag is to the eyes. My favorite thing to do in the summertime is to sit out under the huge elm tree in my yard and do hand stitching. But alas, we had the horrible ice storm and lost many of the branches so it no longer makes a good hideaway.
Right now gardening is my favorite warm weather activity.

I love to sit on the porch swing and read....what a life of leizure I lead huh??? and I love to eat fresh veggies from the garden...my little walk down to the garden along a flower strewn path....ahhhh! PLEASANT!
I love watching the kids have fun playing in the sprinklers at the park. Cool for them kinda cool for me, and I can chat with other mommies while they are occupied.

hi, What a beautiful bag, Linda. I would love to win this one. My name is Preeta. I have been following your blog since a few weeks now. I got through your blog while browsing, to get some quilting ideas and I fell in love with it.
Well since I live in Oman where summers are extremely hot, we dont have a choice but to stay indoors. So this is the time I spend with all my crafty tools, other than spending time with my family.
Love the bag! My favorite summer pastime is going to the beach and taking a nap there, something about the ocean and the sun.

I'd have to say catching up on my reading is one of my favorite summer activities - it gets boiling hot here so staying inside is nice!

MY husband has a 2 hour commute each way to work and with it being light out later he can actually come home in the light instead of the dark. I also enjoy air conditioning, we get very hot here in the summer.

As a mom of ten, I can tell you it's usually pretty noisy at my house so I particularly relish the early morning quiet on the front porch swing, drinking my cup of coffee and reading. Often, one or two of my younger children will join me, so we will read a favorite story or just sit and watch what's going on in the garden - a mama bluebird looking for a juicy tidbit for her babies, hummingbirds dive-bombing each other, the butterflies visiting our flower beds.
This is a SUPER bag! My favorite thing in the summer is gardening and having lots of flowers. It just makes me feel good.

beautiful things! Well I come from a small beachside best kept secret on earth town, so my favorite past time was going to the carasel sp? and the arcades nowadays that translates into going to the theme parks and local carnivals with my kids in the summer :)
