While I Wait

The stitches are out, and now it's a case of slow rehab, gently exercising the arm, without using the muscles. Not as easy as it may sound. I can look forward to another six weeks of sleeping in the recliner:(( So in between the exercising I've been exercising my credit card.
And trying to keep my hands busy with an embroidery needle and thread.
Didn't manage to get the full range of these lovelies, but this will be a good start.
Excuse the fact that these embroidered letters haven't been ironed yet. Still lots to do on them before they are finished.
I have a plain for these pretties, but that will have to wait, my doc advised me it will be at least two months before I can pick up a rotary cutter.
So lots of planning and ideas going on while I wait. I have another few orders waiting to arrive, but before I share them with you, can you share with me what is your all time favorite pattern for a quilt?
Until then,
Happy Stitching.

Linda

A dresden plate, of course! Glad the stitches are out but NO rotary cutting for 2 months. Yikes. Looks like you have pretty things to keep you busy.

I am starting to work on Single Girl also...but hand piecing it..Although I am sure Mary up there will be done before I can even get going again..

Maybe you can teach hubby to rotary cut?

Love the fabrics...glad you could get someone to take you...

Glad you're on the mend Linda, slowly does it. Lovely fabrics and what lovely colours, I think I love stars the best for piecing, Ohio is my all time favourite, but anything appliqued wins my heart first...

I know these two months will be long and limiting. But, it sounds like you are finding some fabric therapy and such good choices I might add. my favorite pattern is Yellow Brick Road. Always a fun and easy quilt.

Yay, stitches are out, now don't go overdoing the therapy - retail or otherwise, lol! But isn't retail therapy the BEST kind? Lovely lovely fabric you got. Those stitcheries are SO pretty! Favorite quilt pattern....hm...I guess it just depends on who I'm making for. I love making wonky coins!

You've got some nice fabrics there. The stitching is also adorable. I can't think of one pattern except for the 9 patch, it's very versatile.
