Moving On
Thank you for all your kind words on the horror quilt. I decided to stitch the binding on and just move on. It was never made as a show quilt, just to be put on the bed and used.
I've almost finished the quilting on this one and hope to make a start on Jenna's quilt tomorrow.
I had a wonderful email a few days ago from a long time friend in Australia, whom I haven't seen in over 12 years. She and several quilting friends will be traveling throughout the United States at the end of the year. It didn't take much convincing to get me to agree to meet up with them in this beautiful town in late October.
Now I'm just trying to convince this wonderful friend to join us on the trip.

One of the girls in my quilting group just came back from the US and she was talking about Intercourse. She loved all the shops there.
That's a beautiful quilt Linda - and how FUN that your Australian friends are coming to visit! What a great place to visit, too!
Isn't that exciting! I meet up with a few Aussie blogger friends this year for the first time and it was so much fun!
Do they have blogs as well? I love going down there fabric shopping , think I need a road trip soon, lucky for me its only 2.5 hrs away

Lucky lucky you to go on a trip. I would do it in a heart beat if it was easier to get there...been to the States from Oz twice now and would love to do it a lot more times....enjoy your trip...hugs Khris
I used to live not far from Intercourse, PA - it's lovely all around here and plenty of great places to buy fabric! Have fun x
Hello there.. am caching up in blogland.. and am so hapy to see that you can rotary cut again... just dont overdo it.. :o) Also read about the quilting on your quilt.. and such a shame.. even if its refunded.. you have to see it.. or are you ripping it up???
