Just back from my first post op check-up. Those ugly staples have been removed. Not the most pleasant experience of my life, but oh well. I have 5 weeks to get my knee to bend to at least 90 degrees otherwise it's back in and open it up again to manipulate the joint. I'll be working hard with my PT to achieve that goal. The thought of another surgery is enough to get me moving.
I've been stitching this past week and have three more embroidery blocks done, but am unable to get into the sewing room to get them pressed, so you'll have to bear with me a little longer, until I feel more stable on my feet.
I'm looking forward to the day when I can once again sleep in my bed, this sleeping in a recliner is wearing a little thin.
Hope you're all having a productive week.
Happy Stitching
Linda

ouch...what a way to get out of pressing...lol
I am sitting here listening to the packers do their job! Love it...
Hang in there the PT is worth it in the end lovin' my new knees.
Your making progress slowly but surely. Hopefully, you'll be back in your sewing room before you know it.
Keep making progress girl - praying you won't need another surgery, yikes! I slept in a recliner for five years, because it hurt my back so bad to lay flat - finally got a memory foam mattress and I can sleep properly again, lol. I KNOW how old it can get sleeping in a recliner, I hope you're out of it soon!
The exercise is so important Linda, I know it was hard when I had my hip done, but I'm so glad that I perservered with it now...glad you're feel in better..
