I decided not to use the wording that was included in the pattern, but instead chose to use filler squares.
The little rose buds were a breeze to make.
The actual roses weren't quite so much of a breeze.
More time consuming, but well worth the end result. I love the way it turned out and was happy with my first attempt at hand quilting.
