Hi and thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm Linda. I'm an Aussie mum of four terrific kids, Luke, Emily, Jenna and Hollie, and Gran to one beautiful little grand daughter, Tayla.I'm now living in the US. I'm a daughter of the King, wife to one amazing husband, and a Pastor.
I started sewing at 9, I suppose it helped that my Nana was a tailor and my mother a dressmaker. From my early teens the weeks would be filled with making new clothes to wear on the weekend. As my children were growing up all their clothes were hand made, until they reached their teens and decided it was no longer "cool" to have "Mum made" clothing. My parents owned several fabric stores which probably helped a great deal. Finding fabrics was never a problem and there was always a great selection to choose from.
I started quilting in my early 30's when a friend invited me to a quilting lesson. I was hooked. After a couple of years that same friend that introduced me to quilting and I were given a government grant to hold a quilt exhibition at an art gallery in Childers, Queensland, Australia.
I also love to embroider, and usually have many projects on the go.
